Daniel Vettori was born in 27 January 1979, Auckland, New Zealand. Had the best economy rate at ICC WT20 2007, conceding 5.33 runs per over while taking 11 wickets at an average of 11.63. Replaced long-serving Stephen Fleming as captain of New Zealand in 2007. Is New Zealand’s youngest international cricketer, making his Test debut 10 days after his 18th birthday in 1997. Has scored over 3,000 runs and taken nearly 300 wickets in Tests.He is New Zealand team captain .
